A round for the house.Thanks to all who gave me input on my cel problem.It has been dormant for over a week now.Now on to my next question.I have read other peoples posts regarding the use of spray tb cleaner,its pros and cons.Owing to the fact that it has been about 400 below outside and I do not have access to a heated shop,I was wondering will I damage my cats if I use it?I feel that the tb needs cleaning and have used spray on my S10 with no adverse effects.But I do think that the 2.5 is abit more fussy than my 2.8 so I am leery about upseting the contour gods.

Well if you're just spraying the TB you can remove the TB from the UIM and spray the TB away from the UIM. That way solvent won't get down there to the cats. just get a new TB gasket for replacement.

However, there are tiny EGR openings in the UIM that you may want to spray as well. Stuffing a rag down into there (back from the openings) and spraying that & the TB is a good route too.
