The three vehicles that impressed me the most were the Volvo S60R, Malibu, and what may be my next car the Mazda 3 5-door.

I like the (3) vehicles you mentioned Aaron, especially the S60R but at $42K, its a bit out of my price range, thats for sure I sat in the gray S60R and let me tell you what, GREAT interior From the "baseball glove" colored seats to the blue gauge faces, its a bad-ass car thats a real sleeper in todays market. I wonder how many people you could sucker with this car. For those who don't know, the car has a 5 cyl turbo w/ 300 hp, 295 ft/lbs of torque, 6 speed and AWD, not to mention killer brakes and YAW control to boot. They even make a wagon for those who really need to "haul" ass

You also mentioned the Malibu and I can tell you this, the car has some balls. My Dad has one, the gray/green colored one w/ the 3.5L 200 hp engine and this gets up and goes I like the manual shift mode on the shifter and you can go into it on the fly. I expect the Malibu to get some type of performance model in the future, lets just hope it gets some bigger tires/wheels to fill the wheelwells, its the only thing I don't like about my Dads ride.

As far as the Mazda 3 goes, well, the one I priced out was $21K, but w/ my father-in-laws discount it would be a little over $19K. This car has it all and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. You get alot of car for not so much money. You know theres a MazdaSpeed in the works, so lets just hope its more powerful than the 170 hp, Calloway-developed, MP3 MazdaSpeed Protege' it replaces
