i really do not think it can easily be done
other then switches and wiring alot else is different. one the abs controller is different IIRC, also the brake components might also be different
I beleive the TC data is contained int he computer so you would need to find one that matches your car and has the TC program
also in the pre 98 cars the TC is mechanical, you have the really long throttle cable and control motor, and it works with the abs at certain speeds
the post 98 play with the ignition to use TC
