that is awesome! i owned a 93 camry 4cyl 5spd before my tour... it had a backyard build turbo, consisting of 3sgte head, 3sgte turbo manifold, ct26 turbo, 3 inch catback, 7mgte supra injectors and various other power adders... it ran a 14.2, before the tranny blew... I updated my sig because I also had an ECU at the time. My I've run five 14.4s with mphs ranging from 97-99mph, but my car is one of the slower ones for the mods I have. A lot of guys are getting 14.1-14.2s and one got 13.6s on slicks. I plan to run some low 14.2s with drag radials in the spring.

Come to the Dark side. There are two companies making turbo kits for the 95-99 Maxima and with ~4psi, the car makes 250fwhp/250fwtq. With 7 psi you're looking at ~300fwhp. 3000lb car, $5000-6000 used price, bulletproof engine/tranny, excellent reliability, and a $3000 turbo kit and you can't go wrong. 7psi is good for low 13s@108mph+ on street tires.
We have one guy in the group pushing 10psi and a 30 shot of nitrous on the stock motor including injectors. He made 400fwhp on the dyno and has run 12.4@120mph on STREET TIRES. The car looks bonestock on the outside too. He had a nitrous backfire a couple weeks ago and cracked the intake manifold, but the rest of the engine is fine. I think he'll get 11.6-11.7s on slicks.

Dude if it weren't for the slipping clutch on the 97 SE? i test drove ... i'd be a maxima owner... but all in all i'm happy with my tour, not as fast as a max but it does have some potential... but i do have the need for speed If i can get my tour to run mid 14's all motor i'd be happy

All you need is a hybrid 3L with a few bolt-ons and you're right there. I easily took a 2003 6 speed Altima in my '99 SE 3L.

That's exactly what i plan on doing when my money permits... but for now i'm looking for SVT goodies; UIM, LIM, injectors, SVT heads w/cams etc... I would love to have a 3L that runs as strong as yours did, i've saved up 1500 so far.

Exactly, I ran a 14.6 @ 97mph on a not so nice track and a hot humid night.. Im gonna go for a 14.2 this spring when I can tune it a little bit and fix some other minor problems I was having the last time I went down.
