I have found that I cannot get traction in 1st gear anymore. If I punch it from a roll it breaks loose and there is terrible torque steer. If I punch it out of a corner forget about it. From a launch is not so bad as long as I take it easy. I am putting down about 176 HP to the wheels and 160 TQ to the wheels. I noticed it became worse when I installed an aftermarket Y-Pipe.

Any suggestions and what do you guys do to deal with this. I do love the extra power on the highway though...

There's no way to solve your problem. You might as well just give your car away.

Saturday work for you?

What kind of mods do you have? Wouldn't mind that at all. Are you still on smaller rims and maybe cheaper, or almost bald tires?. That could probably do it. I'm hoping to be pushing the kind of #s you stated above, we'll find out when I get it dyno'd here within a couple months. Might have to do a chip..... $$

I have 16's (7 inch wide) and KDWS for tires. They do have 19K on them, but plenty of tread left.

Mods in order

1. Open K&N with Heatshield
2. Optimized TB
3. Brullen Cat-Back
4. Brullen Y-Pipe

Wow. So we pretty much have the same set-ups. Minus the heatshield and money spent on Brullen's products. I hate Brullen, for good reason though, nothing against you. I'm very curious to see how I fare against your set up now. I do still have my stock exhaust pipes too, just different mufflers and no res. Oh well, we'll see.

Yes, it was a struggle getting the Brullen parts.

But, I am happy with the performance and sound.
