You can mount the subs to the bottom of the rear deck. I've got a single 8 there as well as Aaron and a few others. It's not much work with good results and no loss of trunk space. You'll just need some 1/2 plywood or MDF, a reciprocating saw, a stanley knife, and some 3/4" felt carpet padding. There are tons of posts for subs in the rear deck, try a search for more info than you'll ever need.
Bridge 3/4 and 5/6 to two channels to power the subs. It should end up sending around 100 quality watts to each sub. Should be pleanty and sound nice. Use 1/2 to run the components up front. You can power your rear speakers with the HU should you choose to use them at all.
Should be a very nice sounding system. I'm using something similar with some Focal components up front and a 8" Audiobahn sub in the rear deck powered with a 4ch US Acoustics amp (KW eXcelon HU). It's nowhere near competition SPL but the SQ is excellent.
