My is to the point if it warps any furthur I won't be able to see out anymore. In my state, that's obstructed vision, and it's illegal. IMO, that would be a safety hazard in itself. I had my car to 2 different dealerships when the recall was still "good". The first said it didn't need to be fixed (should have fixed it no matter what) and the second said that they didn't know when or IF they were even getting the dashes in stock. They took my # and said they would call when the dashes came in stock. They never called and the recall apparently expired. I complained to customer service and they got RUDE w/ me. I said to the guy, "So if I get in an accident because of obstructed vision, I can sue Ford, right"?. And he said, "That sure would be an option, now wouldn't it?" and then he hung up on me!

I wrote a lengthy letter to Ford's customer service supervisor and they sent a letter back stating that the representative handled the situation "properly"!!! So the bottom line is, don't expect to get anywhere if your dash wasn't fixed under the recall. Unless you got it from a dealership w/ it warped or warping. Then that would be their responsibility.
