First off, have you not noticed all of the press that street racing has gotten in the last few years due to the number of deaths resulting from it? What this dealer did would be classified as street racing more or less the way most states are cracking down now. The law is not screwing around with these people anymore, they are charging them harshly and punishing just as harshly. Right, wrong or otherwise that just the way it is.

Secondly, yeah I have taken my car well over 100mph before but on an empty road with NO ONE in my car AND I was/am willing to take full responsibility for my actions if I do it again and get caught.

Bottom line, sounds like the salesman was trying to be joe cool and impress this guy for the sale and ended up nearly killing him and possibly scarring up his face for life not to mention he is a REPRESENTATIVE of his company and did this on his company's time with the company's car. What the guy did was stupid and even more so than normal because of what I just pointed out. While I may not agree with his life being ruined the law is the law and he brought whatever comes from this on HIMSELF.
