If you remove all those shiny cars that you actually see on the streets every day, the ultra luxury (Maybach ...), the ultra high performance cars (Ferrari ...) that we see mostly in the movies and those abnormal vehicles with a restricted use - if not useless - (Hummer ...), you will be left with a few novelties that can barely fill a normal showroom!

As for Ford, let us recapitulate! We have the slightly facelifted 2005 Focus; we also have the 2005 Five Hundred which is most certainly destined to a sedantary career similar to that of the Taurus; we have the new Mustang with another "new" nostalgic retro look (nothing apparently has been learned from the Thunderbird experience); we are left with the promised Futura of which we know nothing! Oh yah, I forgot the hastely assembled for the show Shelby Cobra ... but who really cares...

I think you are being a little harsh as well. Whats wrong with a restyled focus? It rides on an exemplary platform, all it needs is a refreshening. Why do you assume that the Ford 500 is "certainly destined to a sedantary career similar to that of the Taurus"? And your criticism of the new Mustang is unfounded.

Maybe we should wait until next year to see what Ford has really to offer to the car enthousiasts.

Why wait?
