Just came back from the Detroit show. Ford had one hell of a set up. There was much interest in the new Mustang, and obviously in the Ford GT. From my understanding, after listening to all the verbal presentation at each car (yes I am one of the people that actually listen to them), Ford is getting ready to change everything. Similar to GM. GM just re-did everything if you haven't seen the commercials, and to my understanding they are doing well with it. My opinion, give them 2-3 years. Then things will be different. People are not buying cars like they did several years ago. More people are looking into that $30,000 price range than before (financing and such helps so much), and most of the other companies have marketed for that range (look at the new Saab, Volvo, hell even some BMWs), and I believe Ford has something in store for us all. All this from someone who used to be anti-Ford... wow, never thought I'd say that.
