What do they do to change the torque curve on the Mach1?

After reading about the new 4.6L SOHC 3 valves per cylinder to come in the '05 Mustang GTs (300hp at 6000, 315tq! ), I'm kinda sad that the DOHC 4.6 will be out-dated.

BTW, where were these pictures taken? You say you're from the Mojave Desert, but there's snow and ice on the ground....

Ford took what was similar to the 01 Cobra 4.6 engine and stuck Navigator 5.4 heads and cams on it. Remember that with the modular engines almost everything is compatible.

The pics were taken about an hour from where I live up in the Sierra Nevadas. For the people familiar with the area, it was near Kennedy Meadows on the way towards Sherman Pass.

I thought they used the '03 heads with stock cams but Navi exhaust cams?
