Actually they used a compuer model using maximum vehicle curb weight & a 300lb ballast and shifting at the 6700rpm soft limiter.

Magazines posted between 15.2-15.4 at 91mph & 143-144mph top speed.
Though to my knowledge no 00 SVT was ever "magazine" tested.

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
