This may seem like an odd request...howeva most of the SVT's on here with mods only seem to accomplish 15.4 or so...i'm wondering why is this when from the factory they've been known to run 15.3...any ideas y this may be..i'm only guessing maybe driver maybe heavy stereo equipment..

the people who test these cars are professional drivers
the people who own them are not

every single svt contour varies in hp... These magazines that test them, only have one car to test with, while we have many on these forums that vary in hp, skill, and track conditions.

Magazines rated the SVT (quickest stock) around 15.2-15.4 @ 90-91
You could likely beat that "slightly" with an aggressive launch, perfect track, ideal conditions, etc, etc.
Starting from a stop is not one of our strong suits. (Decent power, 3000lbs, and the fact that traction is nearly a moot point)
From a rolling start or in the corners the car shines.

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

Bombig That is a Fricking Cool azzed Mondeo you've got there! I don't normally like body kits but that one looks good and considering the rims you put on it looks downright mean! I like it.
