It is possible. Think if you will, The perch that the spring sits in: if that perch is higher up on the shock tube than stock, the car will be raised however much that perch is. The springs under the weight of the car remains compressed the same, but their position on the shock tube will indicate ride height. The top of the spring simply goes up and down with the shock piston, so if the plate is 1" higher, the 'deadzone' (position at rest) of the piston is 1" higher as well. if i were any good with mspaint id draw it.

There's another post where someone installed bilsteins and H&R's and only claimed a 3/4" drop when its supposed to be 1.5" or so.

It takes too much effort to worry or be upset about it. im going to live with it.

And no, Roush springs certainly aren't the same height as stock. except for me (yet).
