Actually, I was just reading something last week that economists have noted the largest growth in the manufacturing sector in over 20 years.

Some NAFTA work that migrated across the border is moving back (that which isn't cost-effective to go all the way to China) and many companies have found it's much more difficult to work with factories halfway around the world than anticipated.

Admittedly, in the last 20 years the manufacturing sector has been shrinking very fast, so any growth is probably exemplary. But growth is still better than loss.
