I just got this repo car wich I found to be a really nice
car.The problem is that when I brake a little hard the
front of the car tends to pull to the right.
Front rotors shaved
Front new pads
Rear drums shaved
Rear drum cylinders and shoes changed new
Full bleeding of system.
The problem still there, just less abrubt.
1999 contour, no abs.
ANY HELP??

I considered that probability but didn't work it out since
both calipers needed to be pushed back to change the pads.
I think I'm gonna take your adv. and take a closer look.
thanks !!!

What the guy said your caliper is bad.

See the capiler pads are not evenly each away from the rotor. One is closer than the other so one pad has more force than the other, because the other is touching as much.

Dont drive to much or you will be replacing the pads.

Did you bleed the brakes? That might help

Make sure the tires are the same brand, model and size, and that they're inflated equally. A long shot, but a 2psi difference across the front tires really caused havoc with my old Miata's braking and acceleration.

Might want to have an wheel alignment done too. Inspect suspension bushings. A bad bushing (front control arm, rear) might shift on braking and cause a pull.
