With Villinuve in the cockpit!
And were is Ralph or Juan going? I think Juan has another 2 or 3 more years left in his contract. i know nothing about about Ralph's contract.
And regards to the new car. I think if they took 1/2 the money they spend on this car. And put it into fine tuning last years car they would be alot better off. They have more power than any other team. The problem is it took 3/4 of the season to get the new car tuned in. So i think they could be VERY competetive with last years car. Hell Kimi almost won the championship with a 02 car, with a whole lot less power. Imagine if he were driving a reliable ferrari car

KR is a whiner. JPM is a whiner and a prick. JV is whiney little baby and a has-been. RS would do decently if his teammate would stop hitting him; otherwise he's just boring. MS, well, you can't argue with his talent, he's just not the most exciting guy in interviews. AP, well, he can't even handle a street car on the track, he's not long for F1. MW, I'll be watching this kid, he'll do well. GF; Giancarlo just signed as a part-time test driver for the big F, while still keeping his normal duties w/ Sauber; he's got promise.
It just makes me wonder if the new Williams car front end is more focused on limiting damage to the back of RS's car when JPM hits him rather than better aero . . .

JPM has signed with McLaren for 2005. RS has stopped contract negotiations.
Read:
Ralf Schumacher has stopped contract negotiations with the BMW WilliamsF1 team for 2005.
Ralf, whose current deal with the team expires at the end of this year has been holding out for a significant pay increase - one Williams, are yet to agree to.
Speaking to British newspaper, The Sun, the German said: "I decided to stop talks because they were lasting too long and I wanted to focus on my driving.
"Right now I thank BMW-Williams. But if we can't find a way to continue together, I'll start looking for another cockpit. But that's further down the road."
Ralf has been with Williams since 1999, it is believed he wants £10-15 million per year from 2005, whereas the Oxfordshire based squad want to pay him less, with the rest subject to performance.
According to the tabloid newspaper, a source close to team boss, Sir Frank Williams said: "Frank detests anyone trying to hold a gun to his head when it comes to negotiating a new contract.
"The chance of winning a world title in one of his cars should be incentive enough.
"Frank regrets being pushed into Ralf's current deal because he would much rather use the cash to help develop his cars. We don't have a limitless supply of funds."
If Ralf does leave Williams, a number of drivers have already been linked to what will be two vacant seats in 2005 [after Juan Pablo Montoya signed for McLaren]. Those currently said to be in with a chance are Jenson Button, Mark Webber and Williams' third driver, Marc Gene.

I know this is an old post and an old respond but. Rara who is AP? and if juan p. goes to mclaren in 05 wich i already heard he might. Is kimi gone(if so wear?) Or are they dumping david c. who by the way i realy like, and i think is a much better driver than he gets credit for. I mean that dominating win at monaco in 02 has to count for something. I think he just has a real hard time adopting to the whole, one lap qualifing thing.

That seems to be consensus, while another sentiment is that the car just suited Kimi's style better. But in '05 DC is out at McLaren. He might still have some good drives left in him, particularly at Monaco, but that's not enough reason for McLaren to keep him.
