to the guy about the second battery... you don't need it nor do you need an alternator upgrade... unless your running several thousands of watts rms, you should be fine on a 135k alt. you could even add a capacitator to smooth out those spikes

and yeah if the 2nd battery is not running off the alt as well your gonna have to keep recharging it.
