I would definitely say that it is worthwhile to dynamat. It really can make a big difference.

I would mount the amp in the trunk personally. I'm not sure it'll fit under the seat.

Oh yeah, tools are not a problem laugh!

I guess I need to go ahead and order some of the Dynamat equivalent from mcmaster?
Acoustical Damping Sheets
Here's a solution for noise problems caused by vibration. The pressure sensitive adhesive backing can be wrapped around surfaces such as duct and piping.
Mastic and hi-temp mastic sheets are asphalt-based; all others are made of super-flexible, thermoplastic PVC. All sheets meet flammability requirements MVSS-302. Alum-bond and ultrachem sheets also meet UL94V-O. Ultrachem sheets are USDA approved for incidental food contact. fused

Each section is 32x54 or ~12 sq.ft.; how many do I need to do the four doors and the rear deck lid? 2, 3? Man each sheet weighs 7 pounds!!!

What kind of fastener should be used to attach the amp to the rear seat back?
