I would describe Aarons system the same way he did. I would think that the only weakness may be with complex bass tracks.

Part of that has to do with the fact that it is an 8" speaker and has natural limitations. When played within it's limits, it's very nice for the money.

How about getting two of them and suspend them from the deck in a configuration like this...It the bottom 6.5-7" would be visible with the trunk open, but it gives you more excursion, more power, and it may clear up the tracks with complicated bass. The same amp would still work very well, and will give each sub 75 watts.
