WTF.....I'd be pretty upset too, especially considering the fact that you didn't even have a chance to get used to the car.

I haven't found out whether they are going to fix my car yet, or total it. I should find out tomorrow.

In the mean time, it's sitting in the Ecorse Imound (sp?) and I got my rental car this morning.

A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. I'm not big on pontiacs and the grand prix, but I have to say, this car is sharp! Silver, all digital. I'll hate to give it up when my car gets fixed, (or totaled out).

Anyways - I'll let you all know what happens when they decide what to do with my contour.

Sorry about your incident, but to be honest, that's GOT to be a totalled car. Sadly, Contours aren't worth that much. If your insurance co. doesn't total it, you must have a very forgiving agent/company.

I was hit a couple months ago at a stop light by a Blazer who barely did any visible damage at all, but when I went to get the estimate, it was a $400 bill just to get them to take it off and repaint it. It's amazing how quickly damage adds up price-wise.

Good luck and enjoy the Grand Prix! (Hammer it, it'll make you feel better, guaranteed! )
