That's just a pathetic, stereotypical statement.
Would you like me to list some players who makes millions per year and bust there ass every time they go out and play? It's a long list.

Redskins had essentailly the same defense as last year.
Different COACH w/ differnt system (you don't seem to think coaches or systems is the key, since it's all about will )
5th last year, 25th this year.
(See Bengals below)

Bengals were horrible last year.
Essentially the same roster this year.
Why the improvement?
THE COACH AND THE SYSTEM

Cowboys were horrible last year.
Essentially the same roster this year.
Why the improvement?
THE COACH AND THE SYSTEM

Patriots have been decimated with injuries all year.
Yet they finish 14-2 w/ 12 straight to finish the season.
One of the best Ds in the NFL.
Why?
THE COACH AND THE SYSTEM

You give too much credit to "will".
Put Allen Iverson as a 4 and you think even with his unquestioned "will" he will be successful?
You have to have a good system that plays to your players' strengths and disguise their weaknesses.

Skins O-line. Look at what they did with Davis before Spurrier came in. (Better talent now than pre-Spurrier)
Why are they giving up more sacks and less rush yards per game?
THE COACH AND THE SYSTEM

You're too young to understand what kind of coach Joe Gibbs is. I've watched almost every single Redskins game since the early 80s.
