Just did my UIM gasket, but wanted to do the LIM and injector o-rings as well.

My problem was, other than it being -24c in my garage, that the fuel rail and injectors looked nothing like the picture in the UIM FAQ, or what is shown in the Haynes manual.

Both show a split rail with bolts on each injector; see crude depiction below:

But on mine the rails are tacked together with the injectors going to the bank on the opposite side of each tube of the rail; again crude picture below:

The injectors are top fed, but because they are connected in this "criss-cross" pattern, I cant see how it is possible to pull the full rail with the injectors connected, or even without them connected.

FYI: I don't have much experience with fuel injectors, so this may seem like a dumb question.

Can anybody enlighten me?
