I don't disagree at all.

However the T28 when used with the Street Flight kit is making 270-295FWHP (330-360 crank) & nearly TQ to match (flatline 250-275 FWTQ)

Now how much better does that make their design work, engineering, and tuning look since you state the turbo can only support a max of 325HP...

Take it easy...i never said anything about design work. Like i said the Turbo is not producing anymore power past the 325 mark. UNLESS...they have a freak T28.
I could believe 330HP at the crank....not 360HP. I agree it is a really nice Turbo...never said differently. You may want to surf the Import forums....they dont like Garrett like it was KMART material. They claim they are over rated.

I'm fond of the T28 but it's time to upgrade. The best numbers that I was able to do in one run was 288hp and 274tq at 2900rpm. My supplier also said told me that these turbos were rated to 325. However we also had a VW with a T28 do 295 to the wheels. Bastard beat my best hp number by 3.

I've had no issues with Garrett nor have I heard of any...as of yet...so I personally see them as a good product.

Why is it nigh impossible to make 360 crank?

Rating turbo's in Horsepower is foolish anyway as far as I'm concerned since they are technically rated in volume of flow. What you do with the flow is what makes horsepower. That is to say that tuning plays a very important role. Dump too much fuel in with the 1000 HP turbo and you could end up making only 350 HP wherease take a turbo rated at 325 HP and make 360 HP with good tuning and some other factors.
Don't forget the BSFC, brake specific fuel consumption of the motor will play a role in how efficient it is.

I have to brag by the way that my engine made significant power, a max of 303 wHP with only 5.75 psi boost and only 36#/hour injectors on 91 octane fuel. I take some credit since the intake system, more than half of the piping and the head work were all my own, but some of that is a damn good efficient engine from Ford too.

Lets see pics! Sounds nice... The max HP ratings are given through the manufacturer. I will dig up more if i can....or just call Gary Mcvay from Turboneticsinc.com

Also have (10) T04E54 ceramic BB....but your looking at $1170.00 with shipping.....but you also get faster spooling and a Turbo that is rated at 500HP!!

Proper turbocharger compressor sizing should always be done by mass airflow rate vs. pressure ratio. Anyone that uses a horsepower rating for a turbocharger as more than a rough guideline is extremely simplistic and ignorant.

That's not too bad of a retail price for that turbo. Sounds like you guys are almost ready with your kit, I hope all goes well and it provides another variety for the contour owner. It will be nice to finally have choices.

BTW, pics of my stuff are floating around, but I don't have them handy right now. I am in the process of rebuilding my website but who knows if I'm going to finish it.
