Yes, i am running 8.5:1 Ross Racing pistons, but theres one problem...they are for a 3.0L. Guess your out of luck there. However, Keyser who works with Street Flight got a group buy a couple months ago for some 9:1 pistons iirc. You can check Street Flights webpage or the stickied post at the top of the Forced Induction branch of what the standard Contour/Cougar kit includes. Personally, I think $5000 is about right especially for what the kit comes with and the custom manifolds, collector pipe, downpipe, and intercooler that are made.

If i remember correctly, I believe warmgoner said a guy in texas is running a 1200 hp 3.0L block with stock crank with the addition of custom rods and pistons. The block held but the crank finally twisted after that much hp. Personally, I think the pistons is the only components you should be worried about with just a mild setup. Apparently, some of the Ford ringlands have cracked from the cylinder pressure of about 6 psi or so.

I guess why not run the T-28 turbo that the Street Flight kit comes with. Its already been shown to make over 350 hp on a keysers stock 2.5L svt motor with the addition of a 3" catback. Makes full boost at 2800 rpm's too!

Bottom line, go with Street Flight.
