JVC just introduced a few Sirius ready decks at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. Depending on your ability to wait a month or two there will be some more options to look at.
I have always had JVC in the car for competition and done quite well. I also have a panasonic add-on Sirius tuner that has been fine. Sirius will be expanding their line-up on January 19th, adding a few more streams and re-aligning some others.

Comptition level stuff is tempting, considering I'm getting MA Audio speakers through a friend. Thanks for the info

i chose sirius because i liked their content/channel breakdown better. it seemed to have stuff younger listeners would like more so better electronica, rock/metal, rap/hiphop.

Its also nice to have an mp3 cd with 10 hours of Paul Oakenfold on it. DSL, an mp3 deck, and a little time spent on kazaa is all you need.

I personally went with the Kenwood eXcelon X869. Had the features that I wanted and I already had the 901 tuner from my old FM modulator. It was the perfect fit for me. All opinions are subjective, I just like how I can display song and artist on two seperate lines with this headunit while using the SIRIUS tuner. Also, it plays MP3 and WMA.
I am like you, I like the radio because I do not know ALL the music that is out there. SIRIUS was the best choice for me.
