I get flashed all the time. And I took extra care to aim my headlights correctly. But I think its worth the hassle for the extra lighting.

I have the 9005's in the lows for 1 1/2 years now and never have been flashed once. It's is truely a worthwile safety mod.

Same here. Been flashed twice in the past week. I know they're aimed right too. Then again, I've flashed people in the new Jeeps. Those have really bright lights. That and they shine right into your eyes... unlike trucks for some reason...

I'm amazed at how many new vehicles...especially SUVs and MVs...come off the production line with headlights mis-aimed. And yeah...those new Jeep Craperties are probably the worse...

I look at it as a game. They flash me...I don't respond, so they wait until they get close enough..then "bright" me...but then I unleash the SilverStars on them...

yup, i have the 9005s in my low beams (thanks again roger!). I had to do a little modification to get them to fit. Apparently this only pertains to the pre 98s, but one of the 3 prongs on the bulb, (i think its the biggest of the 3) has to be clipped off a little bit. Post 98s dont have to do any modification to my knowledge.

Yes we do.... you need to cut out (dremel) the plastic tabs in the bulb housing, otherwise it won't fit. Be sure not to get anything, including fingerprints on the bulb.

I think that there should be ultra low beam lights for those stinking X5's. Those things blind you in the day! And at night, you can't see ahead of you when they are shining behind you because of the blinding effect.
