Absolutely. I got mine from the GB and it sounds great, looks great, and went on with no trouble. The butt dyno tells me it helps with the power, too.

yes it is a good exhaust, pretty expensive though. you are better off IMO going with trubendz, located here: http://www.trubendz.com/home.asp

you can get the borla pieces, for a few hundred bucks less. you may notice a small gain, with the keyword being small. the gain will be better paired with a good intake.

Someone local to me, Thinkmoto, has the Trubendz. While we both really liked the tone, the volume was a little on the quiet side. That's the only aftermarket exhaust I've personally been able to listen to. I'd love to hear the Borla, Bassani, and Brullen in person. Most of the sound clips I've heard are recorded on cheap equipment so its difficult to compare.

I have the trubenz borla and like the first three months were quiet but now its just damn deep and sounds great just make sure you get the resonated exhaust.

I was reading some where and it was posted that the Borla exhaust actually is worse for HP then the CSVT exhaust. Is that in anyway true?

No way the stock muffler on the SVT are all absolute junk.

The piping (aft of the y-pipe) on the other hand is relatively good, and as such simply swapping out the stock parts for a Magnaflow resonator and Magnaflow mufflers out back is a cost effective way to improve both performance and sound.

If you need Magnaflow parts, PM me.

Why does the Stainless steel system only have one muffler and where does it go in the system? Is it before the split? I'm on the waiting list for the Borla GB and they are both the saem price.

Truebendz has the muffler in the "stock" systems resonator position...right before it goes around the gas tank.

It has been dyno proven that the Borla gives better gains for low end torque (under 4K RPM) and low end HP. Up high in the meat of the band, brands like Bassani and Brullen give better gains. For example, I gained 15 HP at the wheels with an intake and Brullen system at 7K RPM and lost HP and TQ at 3000 RPM. Another SVT with a Borla gained 7 lbs of Torque and 5 HP at the wheels around 3500 RPMS and 4 HP and 3 TQ at 6800 RPM.

No, that is not true in any way.

IIRC the Borla System for an svt cost around 700ish shipped. (Borla's web page didn't work for me)... just seeing what others actually paid for theirs?
