As reported in the April 1st issue of Automotive news,the Mondeo may be sold here as a Mercury,if the price is right.Also if there is a market for it.Mercury is trying to hone in on a more youthful target buyer. Something I didn't know,Ford is going a build a new sedan based on the styling of the Mondeo.The sedan is going to be called the Ford Five Hundred.It will be Duratech powered(3.0 liter)and sport a six speed automatic transmission.Debut date,2004 For you GM fans,the Australian Holden Monaro will be comming to America as the new GTO.LS-1 power and a six speed manual.
