Yeah,you can take them off.Do not mess with your VIN plate,or manufacture stickers on the doors. These are areas police check to see if your ride is a stolen vehicle. The officer will know the "make" of your car by running your plate. This does not give color/model in Ohio,anyway. Good luck on the repaint..keep 'em guessing!
