Extrude honing is a process where a gritty putty is forced through the manifold. It opens the passages a little and smooths things out. This allows for much better airflow through the manifold.
All SVT manifolds are extrude honed. Earlier manifolds ('98) are single and later ('99 & '00) are dual. Dual just means a second process was performed.
