The two-letter code is directly ABOVE the words EXTERIOR PAINT COLORS. This is one instance where the factory manual has let me down. The color code for white isn't listed. But any body shop should be able to use the code you find on your car.
You can try this link www.duplicolor.com and click on Match Maker, then enter 1996 Ford
The most common white for Ford was Oxford White, although there are couple other whites shown in the 1996 Ford listing. They might go to Lincoln, Crown Vic, TBird or something.
