Just wanna say,
I love you guys. Wifes car started acting up (98 Mercury Mystique) Same problems as listed here. If not for this site I would have never figured it out. I would have never geussed it to be a intake gasket. Problem solved and not too bad of a repair either. Replaced upper and lower. Brakes are back, miss is gone, car is running like a CHAMP. Cant say thank you guys enough. Much easier doing this than changing out her alternator like I have had to do twice.
