Haha, I could 'lay down the law' if I could guarantee I'll be there myself. I'll see what I can do. Right now it sounds like a definite yes for early/midafternoon, I'll throw out a time of approximately 1 PM ... but after seeing when they are least busy, so we can at least get seats, we can get a more definite time.
Ryan, if you do call them later today send me a PM or post here; if you weren't able to I will either call them or get up there today (food=good ) and speak with the manager about it. I think Tony and Irene are the only 'managers' persay, since it is a family restaurant, but not sure. Let me know.

All right ... Tony's does recommend that you call ahead so they can at least open up the room downstairs, but it is first come first serve, they don't reserve seats. At least that's what the girl who took my order today said. We shouldn't have a problem, it's pretty busy there but there is always room downstairs (which is more private as well and has tables designed for larger groups). Another thing, I have no idea whether I'll be able to go or not. The Contour made a trip to the mechanic in the center of town today; the problem I was describing in the other topic worsened. My dad supposed a cylinder is not firing properly and heard what sounded like a leak in the intake area as well (or something to that effect ), it took about 20 minutes of gassing the engine before it would hold its own, again very rough, idle. So on top of getting permission to go, I now need to get transportation assuming the car remains there through the week. That shouldn't be a big problem, but certainty is not 100%. Anyway, I think it'd be best to get an approximate number of who can be there, so here's a poll. If you're not coming alone, please post how many people will be coming with you. If anybody has suggestions for a different time that would be best for them, please post.

So what's the exact plan here? Are we all just going to meet at the Pizza place?
I'm just trying to work this around some other plans for this weekend, so any info would be appreciated.

Well, its funny that this meet is planned for after the coldest weather we've had in many years. I hope all the beloved beaters make it through! We put dry gas in both of our beaters last night.

Sally has been working great. i just put a factory power antenna in yesterday before the big chill came around, and got rid of the silly looking CB antenna the PO put on there.
i don't know if i'll have the new ceiling up by Saturday, tho...
btw.. does anyone have a cheap, working CD player they want to get rid of? i'd like something decent, but i don't need the latest technoogy for Sally. let me know.

I've been driving my SVT lately becasue it takes too damn long for my truck to warm up and make heat. (about 10 minutes of driving or 30 minutes of idling to warm up completely) In fact if I'm just putsing around town in my truck it won't warm up if its under 10 degrees. The coolant bypass and intake air-flow through the heads takes away more heat than the engine makes unless I block the radiator with cardboard.

to answer the question, and from what I can tell, yes we are meeting at the pizza place. Mike and I will probably arrive a little earlier than 1:00.
