Howdy, for the past month of two I have had zero power from the cigarette lighter input in my 96 GL. MY complete teardown/re-build book says the fuse for that is located in the primary fuse box. Just where is that located? Is it that little silver box under the glove compartment, and if so how do you get that thing open? The manual says there is some lever to do this...and I could not find it.

I opened the auxilary fuse box under the hood that had some fuses in it, but none for the cigarette lighter.

My other question concerns online buying. I am not able to access any purchasing sites. I can get on to partsexpress or etronics or any other and select what I want to buy, but after I proceed the screen always comes up with "This page cannot be displayed" and tells me some possible problems such as internet securities and such. Can anyone provide me with what I need to know concerning this issue?
Thanks so much.

the fuse box you are looking for is on the driver's side, under the dash.. if you look just above the dead-pedal (plastic pedal shaped liner on the carpet), there will be a box (mine is black) pull lever, and it swings downwards, hinged in the back..

As for the computer, make sure you have your internet security settings set to a level that will allow cookies. Tools/Options/Privacy... slider bar moves to allow more or less things..
