Well, the search is down or i wouldn't have to ask. But i'm doing the tb optimization and need those pic's of the half-shaft work. Someone posted them awhile back, please help. Thanks.

there's nothing really special about it. Just cut the top shaft off.....That's it. Cut it where it meets the other shaft to leave a straight wall. That's it. You should understand when you look at it.

Does cutting off that halfshaft and shaving off the screw threads flush with the surface really make that much of a difference or is this more of a placebo effect? Compared to the total TB throat opening the amount of metal removed for additional air to pass seems rather minuscule in the pic.

considering we're talking mm's of an opening to begin with, that shaft and those screws are really not practical. It's not like you're gaining 20 hp, it's just a "free" couple of HP that you didn't have to begin with. That's always welcome in my book.

I have dyno proof of an SVT gaining 3 HP across the whole RPM range and 6-7 HP at peak from a BNM optimized TB. That's enough for me to do it again to any car I would own from here on out. Doing it to the Trans Am very soon too...
