Going back to the original question about paying over sticker:

If the vehicle is ordered by a customer then the vehicle cannot be sold for over sticker, but what the customer/dealership agreed on. However if the original ordering customer back out of the deal, then the dealership can put it on their lot for over sticker. Example: PT Cruiser-every 2001 PT that you see was ordered by a customer. The PT's whose customers backed out, were sold for more than sticker(some over $10,000 mark-up).

We'll see how long it lasts. SVT Contours sold for sticker or within a couple hundred thereof for about the first year here... then the prices started to fall.

You can pillage an enemy once, but a customer is an endless resource.

So would you call a contour a contour special vehicle team or a special vehicle team contour?

I read in the most recent version of SVT Enthusists laugh Magazine that if you encounter a dealership that is marking up the price of the FSVT because of popularity, you should notify SVT immediatly. Believe it or not, SVT is there to help.
