What do you guys think of the amp below? It is a regular subwoofer amp, right? (not sure what a servo controller is)

I found the amp in a police auction and was hoping to power a some bad ass DYI woofer. Unfortunatly, I think the amp was originally designed to work with a specific Velodyne setup (takes feedback directly for woofer) and would loose much utility and require to much modification to be worth buying.

I think you may be better off just getting a plate amp from www.partsexpress.com . They have a 250 watt version with wireless remote for 138.00. It's a very competent performer and an outstanding value.
