OK, sorry to bring this dead topic back again.

I just had my oem pump blow and delivered an SVT Focus fuel pump & sending unit to my mechanic where the car was dropped off.

He just called me back saying that this pump fits the basket but the cabling does not connect properly with my car. What should I tell him??!?

2 unanswered, yet important, questions in this post still:
-how do you go about the different cabling?
-what can us return style folks use?
im primarily concerned with the return style replacements since mine has managed 94k but i think its going out on me.

Demon...

I'm not sure what the connectors on the FSVT pump look like. I'm guessing they are spade connectors. When installing my Walbro, I simply crimped female spade connectors onto the wires and attached to the pump. You mechanic should not have a problem figuring this out.

svt4b: There are return style walbro pumps too.

Ok Demon, I looked into your advice. It seems that the part # you listed is only for the sending unit according to Ford Parts Online.

And exaclty why are you going there? You should be going to my catalog, it's better than theirs.
