H/K is a very good brand but they are not the only manufacturers out there with full-bandwidth amplifiers. Many of the higher end brands have this feature but obviously you are going to pay for it. When I was shopping for recievers, the Yamaha's and some of the Kenwoods had full-bandwidth amps. The list goes on. One other feature that my Yamaha reciever has that I didn't see any other brands with was the amp inputs for every channel. In other words, I have the capabilities of adding additional amplification to all channels (which includes the surround sound speakers).
