Just one word of advice: don't use any kind of glue/gasket
maker when you position the new gasket in. It's not
necessary and it'd be a hell next time to remove the remnants
of the seal.
Also, if the engine leaks at the valve cover gasket, it can
be a sign of increased blowby/crankcase pressure.
Just for good measure, get the PCV valve replaced by the dealer.
They should do it for free (your car is below 60K mi) and it's a PITA to do it yourself.
