I doubt it. If the speakers are in the door, they would just be pressurized from the front and not the back. smile

dnewma04- I was thinking about adding 6x9's to the back dash of my tour. what do you think?

If they are in a sealed enclosure, the speakers will not be affected by the subwoofer. I had 6.5" coaxials in the back dash for a while and never had a problem. I wouldn't bother, though, as my passengers think my current setup sounds better anyways. I now have 6.5" components in the rear doors with the tweeters in the C-pillars. It take a lot less time to install and it sounds better.

In my first car I had 2 MTX truck boxes with 6x9s in them on the rear deck. I thought they were the ****! Hmmm..maybe I should dig them out... laugh

I guess what I was saying that in either case (deck or door) it is being pressurized. In the deck installation, the pressure would mainly be from the trunk area. In the doors, the pressure would be from the front of the speaker. I was just saying that I doubt that it would make much of a difference sealing it up or leaving it open. That being said, I don't know what advantage putting some 6x9s would have.
