I laugh at the rollover incident now since everything basically came out just fine. As far as the red car goes I've had the engine together and blown twice now, I'm in the midst of buiding the engine the 3rd time now. The bit on the SZ2002 video is probably one of the funniest things we've ever taped.

As far as the cage goes, it looks a little light weight as far as the tubing diameter/guage goes, but it is still an improvement over stock. Also, for a true cage I'd much rather see the loop running forward towards the windshield and running down to the brace behind the dash. There's a guy that used to be on here that raced his contour and had it built that way which I think is much better, plus it ties the whole car together for more stiffness which is one of the true bonuses of having a cage where the four point here doesn't do that.

Call me crazy, but I cant see why you would want to put a roll cage in that car. I am fighting hard to keep from putting a roll cage in my car that does actually run in the 11s (and maybe even 10s this coming year) and requires a roll cage-- it greatly reduces the functionality and every day-ability (is that a word?) of the car. Your back seats are pretty much shot.

i'm pretty sure hes not planning on having anyone in the backseat...especially with running the harnesses back there also.

I think its more for show than function.

Looks sweeter than i thought it would when you told me about it the other day. Hope its finished before NEXT WEEKEND, since the show is next weekend .

well thanx for the replies people! I see this cage as more for show purposes. not sure on a price for this cage, but if i get enough interest. we'll see. Also this cage will work great in putting my harness together!
