Most likely, especially without the cage continueing through the rear deck to the actualy frame/body of the car. Though it won't help to improve the rigidity (handling) of the car, I doubt it would collapse in a roll, so would still probably be pretty effective in a crash.

Really dude, that's rough. Though I think contours do well in rollovers (though not many of us have that experience, I think Eric, chattavegas could also give us some feedback on this one though). I think that roll bar looks sweet, and though isn't the best thing, isn't the worst, and will help if the rollover happens to happen. I think andre wanted it more for better fitment of his harnesses though, and I think that's a pretty good way to go, as a back seat is out of the question because of how I installed my harness. Prepare to laugh SE CEG guys at the Silver Springs meet, my car is pretty funny, maybe we can get some hamburgers in it (ronald mcdonald car), oo well it gets me around. Happy New Year.

If it was a silver SVT on a go-kart track and a guy with a helmet getting real angry, than yes, that was rick.

wow I feel like an old timer here the way everyone is just learning of Buckshot's "incident". You really should see the part of the Spring Zing 02 DVD of BUckshot and BNoon um...disassembling that car.
As for the poor bastard comment, Rick went and did a Pheonix and rose from the ashes...well tried anyway. Got a new SVT and did a full out s/c 3L, was gonna be bad a$$ for sure, till he blew it, I think on the dyno. Then got it running with the 2.5 I think for SZ and on the road course at Gingerman stripped out the splines on his hub or somehting. The man has bad luck with his car, lol.

Oh, and to keep on topic, lol, roll cage looks prettyg ood, but do those rear braces really just go to the rear deck??

Well whenever I get the cage done. I will be talking to a custom fabicator I know about copying the cage once it is done. I will talk to him about pricing and hopefully moving this forum to the GB section. The cage came in pieces and bolts together no welding neccesary. But in my case, I will be doing some welding to get the base product put together. This cage will be in before the Silver Springs show.

I also want to know if people are interested in buying this half cage product from me.
