Thanks for the info about the audiobahns btw. I just hadn't heard any feedback on them and I can't recommend anything without a trusted source giving positive reviews. 
Would switching on the hi-pass crossover have anything to do with the efficiency rating? They test 'em at 1000Hz at 1M, right?
Maybe I should by them to check 'em out. Anybody want to buy my Pioneer plate components?
