My (stock) driver side speaker sounds like it has a short in it, most of the time it doesn't work, but I'll go over a bump and it'll blast on for a second. I really didn't care, the passenger side gives me enough sound, but my mom got me a Pioneer DEH-1500 CD player and Lighting Audio 6x9 three way speakers for Christmas. (talk about yellow- sheesh). I'm thinking about returning the speakers and just installing the CD player, but would that be too much powerfor the stock speakers? I know nothing about any of this. I don't care about being able to hear my Bass a mile away or anything like that, I just want something to work. What are my options here? thanks.
