That's freakin' hilarious! I once had a 1982 Toyota Corolla in high school and it was a total rust bucket! Well all my friends at the time had decent cars and mine was by far the worst of the lot. Anyway, they used to bust on me all the time for it. A couple good ones were
"Hey! Look everyone! John has new brake pads! He pointed at my feet and said, Man, those Nikes are gonna work great for those hard Fred Flintstone stops you do! I had to laugh at that one.
My muffler fell off while I was driving to school one day so I placed it in my passenger seat with the seatbelt fastened so it wouldn't fly out of the seat. Why did I do that? I got to school and my boys saw it. "Hey John, who's the new chick riding shotgun? Man she's hot!"
