piston size isn't the same though. the meaning of 2.5, 2.0, 3.8, or 3.4 (just throwing out numbers) isn't the size of the total displacement of the engine or anything like that, it's the size of EACH individually cylinder. So unless I've been taught wrong all this time, there is no way a 3.4 liter piston fit into a 2.5 cylinder.
But to tell you the truth... I can't remember how they get that number... I have ideas but I'm not so sure... can any clear things up for me?
