Anyone happen to know the rod length and size. Also the size of diameter where the pin goes through and the diameter where the crank goes?

Way to F'in double post!! I went out in the cold f'in night to the shed to pull a rod off the shelf just so I could give you those stupid measurements in the other forum! Now I move to this forum and Dr. Strangelove here has fricking X-rays of them. I wouldn't have had to get my booty cold if it were all in one thread! Oh well, I'm over it now and it is good to have more exact measurements.

True, but that is completely OFF the point! I could be $300 richer and have a warm ass to boot. BTW did you read your PM?

yes thank you very much! Street Flight asked for the transfer function a couple days ago so this was perfect timing. Thanks again.

Actually, I am debating and searching on rods at this time. I want to make sure I am going to be virtually bullet proof in the bottom end of the motor. And I really hate to spend a grand on rods. I mean realistically they should be prived about the same as the pistons in my mind. But just goes to show what I know. Also, if I can find any make/model that has rods for sale that are below sixty millon dollars. I might be more interested in purchasing them. Look at any muscle car ford and look at the price of the rods or pistons and they are virtually dirt cheap. But when it comes to a v6. No all the sudden price almost doubles? What gives? Less to make and its more money. I can't wait till I get my own machine/car shop. Things will change in this world. I hate seeing stuff like this. Yes, I can understand demands warrant prices. But after the first set is ever made, it should never be that expensive again. And you don't have to make all your money back off the first person. Chip away at several not kill the first guy and everyone after. Ugh... I am done ranting and raving right now.
Just my ²¢
