For anything 4 gauge to 22 gauge use a Kline Crimper.. 2 on up Sledge hammer and cemment or advil. Thats what i do. unless you have the 80 dollar crimper that looks like a boltcutter

Where might i be able to get a bunch of those 4Gauge ring terminals for a decent price? I plan on upgrading all of the factory grounding wires in the engine bay with 4Gauge.

Place a cloth down on a cement floor, then use a hammer.

I put them in the bench vice and give it all I have. Then I solder the connection and finish it off with heat shrink tubing. That [censored] ain't coming out. Ever.

Thanks for all the info...my mechanic says he just solders them, with a torch. He applies flux to the lug first.

what is this "swage" you refer to? I have never heard of this. Is it some sort of soldering tecnique?
